Been pretty much a Shimano user for years and last year moved to mostly Daiwa for their versatility options for saltwater/freshwater reels. For performance and value the reels in the title can't be beat in my opinion. I'm so impressed with the performance of these reels... casts unbelievably well, hard to backlash, strong drag system and fits palm perfectly. If you are in the market for a great baitcaster in the 130.00-180.00 range, I suggest you take a look at these. Btw... I sold all my Chronarchs in favor for the Daiwas. No, I don't work for them either smile

I agree!! Daiwa Tatula reels are my favorite. I have slowly switched to all Daiwa Tatula reels.
