I got 3" overnight at home just off 69N out of Lufkin and I got 2.5" on the SE Loop in Nacogdoches at work. There were several roads closed last night before 10 PM because of localized flooding but they were all the usual suspects.

Lakes area lucky so far. Not lucky to the south. My dad has about 35-37" in last day or so near I10 NE of Winnie

Lakes area lucky so far. Not lucky to the south. My dad has about 35-37" in last day or so near I10 NE of Winnie Jarrett, It has been bad down that way for sure. Prayers sent for your dad and the rest of the folks in those area.  Cajun Navy is rescuing people already.

I spent the morning pulling a guy out of the mud in our parking lot here in Nacogdoches  wonderful. Don't have a rain gauge here but... it's raining!

I still only had totals of about 3.5" at home in Lufkin and at work in Nacogdoches.

We need to save that map and pull it out every time the global warming zealots predict what is going to happen 10-100 years from now. Tyler was supposed to get 4-6 inches of rain, then 2-4, then 2-3, then "another" 1-3. Actual rainfall for September 19 as of 10:00 last night? .03 inch. Our weather "experts" overestimate rainfall by 20,000% in a 2-3 day forecast, but they can tell us what is going to happen in 2030 and 2075.

Your statement is flawed. Climate and weather are totally different things mate. And tell that to Beaumont area....some areas up to 15"? Well that forecast kept people from leaving and 40"+ later they are all flooded.

Climate is weather over the long term. If we can't predict tomorrow how dependable are forecasts for 50 years from now?

Buddy in Splendora got 30†in 24 hours. I “only†got about 10†out of all that I live between Livingston and Conroe and only got 1 1/2"... it's crazy...I need 10 inches..
