I suggest you occasionally take your wife out and do what she want or she will find someone who will. Let her have a good time and you keep it to 3 or 4 beers and drive. You can control yourself cant you.

Solid advice

Beyond blessed my wife has zero interest in the bar scene or dancing. My major rub with them is the cost. You can drink far nicer beverages at home for the same price as swill at a bar. Maybe pitch a compromise. My wife and I enjoy comedy clubs. A few drinks, but the nights don't get out of hand. Avoid the bar if you can, uber if you must.
