Serious question, is there very many other countries you can drop in their ER rooms and get treated for flu with them expecting to get paid?
Because that is just ridiculous- Pretty much every other developed country on earth, It is built into the tax system. And not 100% controlled by corporations who have bought the GOP. Never mind, I’ll just google it, I may be overweight but I can google-

Unfortunately the fix will not be easy or cheap.. Mine ain't broke. What are you fixing? Mine isn't either. But the ACA was about DB;s that have none.... and depend on the Emergency room. And drive responsible peoples price. Buy insurance or pay. That sounds like a conservative plan. What an absolutely absurd description of Obamacare.

Here is Canada’s advice for some countries-
Not sure how much “pretty much every other civilized county” has all this circuited out, really-

Here is Canada’s advice for some countries-
Not sure how much “pretty much every other civilized county” has all this circuited out, really-
But thanks- I work with Canadians every day.... They pay a third of what I do,,,,, and zero complaints. Pay through your nose and like it.

Where did I ever say the ER is free?
The insurance industry hasn’t been a free market for a long time. The ACA wasn’t about making it easier for people who couldn’t afford insurance to now afford it.

My wife took my middle child to the ER Monday. Paid the cash price and didn't give our insurance. It was going to be out of network. Paid $200 cash.

Here’s one for you speaking of insurance. I have met my deductible and pay 20% at the time. Tomorrow. I’m having a ganglion cyst removed from the top of my foot that is wrapped around 2 tendons. My cost for the Dr. Is going to be $67.20, pretty decent cost. But, Baylor Scott and White is charging $768.40 for use of the OR. Absolutely a racket.
