Hey y'all,

Writing to you from the Cypress area just outside Houston! A lot of people have been worried about all the rain coming from this tropical storm out in the gulf. If you live anywhere near the Houston area, we all know how bad and easily it floods here. At my specific location, I'm about a mile away from Cypress Creek, which is known to overrun its banks very frequently during the rain season. However, unlike everyone else, I'M EXCITED! The creek has been too low recently to catch any decent cats, and the rain brings them back! You can bet your bottom dollar I'll be trekking through some brush to a couple of my favorite bank spots to strike gold after a long dry season. Tight lines y'all!
