Is what you see on the Navionics Web app. the same thing you see on those $150 chips? I don't see any difference on the web app. for Lake Waco than what comes on my HDS to justfy the cost.

it's much more detailed than what comes on a standard graph, plus it has community updates and shading. Depending on what Navionics chip you choose, you can cover any lake in the country. I have the Hotmaps Platinum Lakes which covers all the lakes in my region plus the coast- https://www.navionics.com/usa/charts?charts=HotMapsPlatinum&fn1/You get updates as long as you're subscribed. (yearly subscription cost)

Yes......when on the chartviewer make sure it has sonar charts turned on. Sonar charts will show the latest data
