I live on the north west side of town bandera in between 410 and 1604 and all the fishing holes that I have are on the other side of town . Anybody have suggestions on where to go after work that would be closer to me?

Thanks in advance

Hondo Creek Fred. You know just about every Rio by name there! thumb You might also give Medina Lake a try. I have fished Medina Lake a couple of times this year from the bank and did not do all that well. Last year I fished Medina Lake three times from the bank and did good all three times. Plenty of nice Bluegill! Also the bass fishing was not that bad either. cheers

Thanks guys! I know Hondo creek is always there I would love to find something closer that I don't have to drive 45 minutes after work to get there.

I would say Medina Lake. Bass fishing there has been fairly good all year. I have seen a couple of good post a couple of years ago posted by Chuck BAF on several nice catches of Bluegill he and the Wild Man of the Navidad had caught. Also looks like Pipe Creek is in your general area as well as the Medina River in Bandera.
