Haven't watched a game in 3 years because of the fake politics. That's what CNN is for.

If you had no interest i doubt you would be way deep in a Cowboys thread taking time to comment on it.

this is kinda ignorant TX, game was over and even pro athletes give up. He ran 27 yards when the skins had given up. It was a meaningless run was Patriots point and he is right.

I believe that was an outlier, too much offense these days to just win with a defense, did not research it but I bet the Ravens had a good running game.

yes they did. Jamal Lewis. One of only 7 backs to eclipse 2,000 yards in a season and he also broke Corey Dillon's single game record with 295 yards in a game. That was eclipsed by AD, Adrian Peterson with 296. Lewis could tote the rock but is a poster boy for early running back burn-out.

They did! But, they were 13th in scoring and 16th in total yards. They had so many defensive turnovers, even with a crappy offense they were still a bad offense. They went five straights games not scoring an offensive TD!

That’s unheard of.

I agree today is different, and the rules are different. We will never see anything like it again. But it happened not all that long ago.

I will say this. I was always busting on Jerry for years with his stupid signings and big money payouts for unproductive players.
But he has changed. The organization has changed. Its more fiscally sound, on paper and the field.
Stephen has helped and McClay is the real deal.
McClay staying in the background not needing the spotlight says something to what kind of guy he is.
I wouldnt know him if they showed him on TV.

Good post and I agree with your summation 100%.

Booger is now just an old ego driven, scotch abusing phart. Still has final say on team decisions but appears to listen to his personnel people. I respect him for having his player's backs. Don't respect him for his limelight hoggin' ways. I know he has screwed the pooch running this team prior to hiring the Tuna and I think he knows it. Still don't trust him not to screw something up. Think this team of his can be really good.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Think about this. Its funny how the NFL works. Tony couldnt stay healthy for just a couple more years. With this team he could have very well went out like Elway did. Remember, Elway was labeled couldnt win the big one for years.

I will always feel bad that Tony didn't get the reward he deserved for his hard work and talent and no matter what anyone says the man had the talent to win it all he just never had all the pieces. He always gave his best and I will always admire him for that. I sometimes think if Parcells had hung around he might have got a ring.

what happened the year they went 13-3 with Tony? Can't remember why they bowed out. Was that the Seattle fumble on the extra point?
