NO is the ideal landing spot. He has connections to the city. NO has a better OL than NYG.

McAdoo did him dirty last year breaking his games started streak, but this is the right move this year.
I think they will keep him to mentor Jones the rest of the year, unless they get a ridiculous offer. I disagree. They are terrible, even if Jones plays really well they aren't going to win many games. I feel they are throwing the kid to the wolves. Didn't hurt Mahomes to sit a year. I don’t think it’s about winning games. I think they are thinking may as well give the kid some real time experience with a very good veteran mentoring him and who knows the system. I’ve got no skin in this game, and it is the Giants, so who knows if it will be the right decision, but I still believe he may as well get thrown in there. We will see.

Hopefully, if he has offers to play somewhere else they let him go if he wants. They could could do that for him at this point IMHO

When they broke his consecutive games streak for a NY Jet discard, it was the end for Manning. They already knew what Geno Smith could do and still let the guy play.
