I drained the oil but didn’t change the filter because I was lazy and also because the sum bich wouldn’t budge. Will it make a difference. Only 5 hours in.

As bad as you are at being Mexican, I’m shocked that you managed to get 5 hours on that engine without severely screwing something up.

Leave the filter on so the "experienced" oil in the filter can get acquainted with the new oil and show it how it's done.
