Thinking about the bull reds at SLP. Can someone give me some rigging advice? Appreciate it!

Depends on how much money you want to spend and if you want a casting or spinning set up. I'm using Penn Slammer III's with Ugly Stik Bigwater 10-12ft for my red setups but know others that prefer casting over spinning. Using 65lb Power Pro and will use a steel coated double and single leaders with a spider weight.

We use 10' medium heavy spinning rods, 4000 Shimano spinning reels with 30# braid. Double drop leaders made from 80# mono with 2-- 7/0 circle hooks and a 4oz spider weight. We have caught bull reds up to 45" and one 4' shark on these rigs. [Linked Image]
