The one's with the split up the side, or corks that you have to tie to at both ends. Which one is the best?

4" "Alameda cork" I use the 6" weighted styrofoam ones with NO slits bc I rig it "slip cork" style

I should have mentioned that I found several of each in a box of old fishing lures. I like the slotted since it eliminates the tying of two knots.
