I live in a neighborhood, all one acre lots, about 30-40 houses total in the country. One neighbor has some land behind their house that belongs to a friend of theirs. They continuously shoot guns during the day and now it’s reached to night time. I’m ok with the shotguns but they have expanded to AR’s. This neighborhood is full of kids, I’m sure they don’t have a proper berm to stop ricochets. Plus their is drinking involved. Should I be concerned

is your hood incorporated? if so there are laws about shooting in city limits usually.

if not, I would call the sheriff and ask about what can be done. booze n rifles are not good and booze and shootguns can be worse, no matter what drunken uncle joe says about them.

first thing tho you should inspect the shooting area, no berm etc. then go talk to the neighbors about it.

country stuff is done in the country, not on 2 acres, no way an ar can be shot safely without a large berm for a backstop.

I am on 1000 acres and still have to consider other land around me due to cattle etc. since a shot can easily travel 1/2 mile or more (5.56), a 308 would carry farther.
