Anyone know of a hotel with a lounge in Fredericksburg? I like to drink a few brews before I hit the sack.

I went there for years on business and I really don't think there is one. What's nice is there are plenty of watering holes with a very minimal drive if you are careful.

There is a WW2 aviation themed hotel at the airport. They have an officer's club. I haven't stayed there but have heard good things from someone who has. Here's a link: www.hangarhotel.com

In OK, most of the better class hotels have a lounge, but they seem to be hard to find in TX. I wonder what the deal is?

Most "better class" hotels aren't in rural towns. Plenty of best-in-class hotels in the cities.
