My girlfriends 2006 Expedition, her A/C blows through the defrost vents, then after 10-15 minutes it will start blowing through the dash vents. I know this is a vacuum issue, any ideas where to start looking?

does it change from defrost to vent and vise versa during acceleration and steady cruising? has it set off a lean bank code 0171 or 0174?

It will just switch from defrost to AC, with no warnings. We can be sitting still or driving.. but no codes

Well I got it figured out, was a vacuum hose behind the battery. It was dry rotted... $1.50 later all is good with the world and sheโ€™s happy...
