I figured the storms might stir up the fish. Wasn’t a bell weather night but did manage 22, a handful were around 4lbs, and a perch. Water temp 92 at intake and 88 east side of lake. Most caught off of sub points all on Texas rig. Had some success with trolling last month but no takers this trip.

What was weird is they must have been taking water samples because at least 5 strings of floating monitors were strung clear across the lake. Made it tricky at night because some of the monitors’ flashers were not working. They picked them up in the morning.

Had a couple of pictures but the site I used for sharing has shut down. Anybody have any other suggestions?

Those are seismograph monitors. Been working the lake for a month or so now.

Yep, looking for natural gas.

Thermocline is set up at about 15 ft. We caught 35 today all above that depth. Tried shallow first hour with nothing to show for it. Water temp still rose to 97 in places.
