Does anyone use feeders for their ponds? If so, what food do you use?

You have a few to choose from: Texas Hunter, Texas Avenger and then the rest. Texas Hunter stands behind their product and so does Texas Avenger. Hunter is easy to work on if it every goes under water or is flooded. I have yet to work on an avenger system.
Feed wise I like optimal fish food--high quality and gets shipped to your door step, then purina aquamax, and then skretting. Not all feed is the same, if targeting for better bluegill get a higher protein feed, catfish a lower protein is fine (their stomach system was designed to digest low quality feed).
Get with me for the all aluminum feeders we designed. The King Ranch is using our feeders. So fsr we have replaced abput 200 of their 400 plus feeders. They tried five different manufacturers and went with ours....
We made a floating pond feeder as well that copies our proven deer feeders. All aluminum. Will live forever. Your grandkids grandkids will be enjoying them. And aluminum transfers heat 5 times faster than steel eliminating condensation for better quality feed.

Buy minimum 32% protein fish food. Tractor Supply sells a good fish food product. Rangen is the best I have found( up to 42% protein) but it is not widely available. I used to drive once a month to Angleton to get it...its that good. I don't like catfish food with ingredients designed for catfish rather I prefer to get multi species types.
I’m using Optimal and like the results. But, I don’t hesitate to use Purina Optimax . Skretting is too hard to get in the Fort Worth area but it is a good feed. A bunch of us around DFW get together in the Spring and make a large purchase to cut down on shipping expense on the Optimal.
Agree with ML on using anything that isn’t specifically designed and formulated for fish.

Never , ever feed dog food...or you'll be sorry.
Why would you be sorry? The dog food is lower quality im sure, but guessing it just causes an algae bloom?

Algae bloom would be the least of the reasons to avoid it...how about liver damage to fish, significantly reduced life expectancy, poor performance gains in your fish...for starters.
