Carolina rig in the dark has worked very well for me and my dad in the past. My dad won his boat in 2017 with a Carolina rig and I had my phone in one hand for a flash light and the net in the other hand!!! It’s a very versatile bait choice!!!

I like a wake bait in the dark (where they hook themselves) and a 10 inch dark colored power worm (or another worm with a curly tail that moves water) texas rigged. I havent had much luck on faster moving baits than that until at least about 30 mins before sunrise when there is a little bit of light.

Try a buzz bait too at the very first crack of light.

That first hour or two is critical for a good bag.

What kind of weight do you use Trig?
