Only coach I’ve ever seen unintentionally trip a player on the field. Maybe a goat though.

When he trashed his own player for standing for our national anthem was the last time I ever tuned in to NFL in any way.

yes he did, I saw it with my own eyeballs Hmmmm, everything I have read says he didn't. What exactly you talking about Tiltman? Maybe I'm thinking of a different thing. If so, my apologies. Post up video or pics. Maybe I;m thinking of a different thing.

Maybe I’m missing something. Both Tomlin and Villanueva explain this and Tomlin never rips Villenuave.

He publicly shamed him for not sticking with the team in protest. In an interview he openly expressed disappointment openly and insinuated he was not a team player.
I would have to find it on the web somehow.

Please do, that would be the first I’ve heard of it. He spoke openly about how he thought Trumps comments were decisive but Villanueva apologized to Tomlin for stepping outside the tunnel and Tomlin said he had nothing to apologize for. I’ve read several stories about it. Not trying to say you’re wrong, I want to make sure I’ve read that right. It’s complex to read at times because sometimes when Tomlin is talking about this situation, he’s talking about Trump, not Villanueva.

I don't care what he's talking about he's an NFL football coach, not a political activist. His opinion on politics needs to stay in his private world not on the TV screen before or after a football game.
I am not defending Trump or anyone else (well except maybe the player that chose to stand)
It's sickening to me that in this day a business is forced to take sides on an issue. I wish the NFL would have shut all this down the second it started. The players and coaches are employees in an Entertainment industry it is not their platform to do with as they wish. The owners in the NFL for the most part are cowards.

Tilt, your comments make me think you haven’t seen a second of Tomlin commenting on this at all. Tomlin tries to steer clear of it as far as he can. He makes one mention of Trump not helping the situation and how he wants it to be about football and that politics and football should have no crossover. He mentions that trump isn’t helping with his comments. He wants it to just go away so they can ply football. I’m confused.

I have seen it , I haven't found the interview I saw that day yet but I am looking. I saw all of the spin control and distancing but I am telling you I saw and heard him single the guy out and say he was disappointed in him lacking to resolve to show solidarity with his team.

Will if you do find it, that’s not cool. Villanueva should be celebrated and heralded, not shamed.
