I just moved back to the Fort Worth area from Midland, and bought a house in Trophy Club. Pretty excited to have lakes so close again. I am going out in the boat to grapevine this afternoon and was wondering if anyone has any success bass fishing there? I’ve found a few good videos on YouTube but they were from years ago.

We were on Grapevine this morning. Caught several on top water early but then had to go deep to do any good. Had our best luck in 18-25' with Carolina rigs and heavy shaky heads.

Fished Grapevine today.
Caught fish on spinner baits on banks with birds. After sun came up went deep with a xd10 and caught several solid fish. It is just going to get better. Today was the first day i have seen so many shad bunched up in front of the coves.

It was my first time on the water since February so it made sweating my butt off much more enjoyable. I graphed a lot of bait, and fished deep with crankbaits and jigs. Ended up with 2 whites bass, looking forward to learning the lake. Thanks for the feedback.

Have not fished it this year. I fish Fork weekly and several East Texas lakes where I keep my boat, but I also live in Trophy Club. Let me know if you ever need a partner.
