Tomorrow morning will be my first time to take my new boat out- 17 Ft Bass Tracker

I am going to Lewisville. I am going to put in at Little Elm boat ramp . I was going to try under the bridge with jigs.

I am not asking for anyone's fishing spot. But, I see videos of crappie being caught where there is no visible structure. The new boat has 2 depth finders. What should I look for when not near visible structure? A place where there is a drop off?

Any advice would be appreciated

Thx

The bridges will have some fish on them but the brush and underwater trees will have more and better fish on them. Look on points in 20-25 ft for trees and brush. The timber will also hold some good fish right now. Just depends on what graphs you have. If you don't have side imaging, it will be very tough to find brush/trees underwater the first time out.

Thank You..I don't know lake lewisville at all. Gonna do my best. This is my first time to use the boat and the 2 depth finders that came with it. The seller called them depth finders. I am not sure what they will show until tomorrow

Gotcha, I would imagine they are 2d. If that is the case I would go and hit timber in 10-25ft. The toll bridge is also a spot I would try. Usually can find them about 10-15 ft down there, just have to move from pillar to pillar to get the numbers. Hope you do good!
