Hi folks! I have really enjoyed catching channel catfish and thought I would put together a 101 video covering the topic. I think this is probably the most reliable fishing summer time has to offer with just about guaranteed success e very trip with little effort!

Hope this helps anybody new to catching channel catfish in the summer months.

Thanks guys! It took some time to put it together! Lots of video to filter through to put it together. I have been having an absolute blast catching these channels. Its nice to take a break from hybrid fishing and staring at my graph trying to find hybrids when I can just go bait a "hole" and catch fish 15 minutes later and never have to move before I call it a trip.

Enjoyed the vid! Obviously the local boat dealer left the dock open. That rock corner always seem to hold a ton of those little buggers. Good fun! thumb

Thanks y’all. Let me know if y’all make the dough bait and try it out. If I’m not using it I love cj’s punch bait because it is so fibrous and stays on the hook. The dough bait I make falls off much easier but holds good enough to catch em without being nasty.

Cut your flour measurement in half and put tortilla mix. It will result in more of a rubbery consistently that will stay on the hook. Another trick is making sure the hook isn’t already half loaded with wet bait. Dough sticks better if hook is dry. I simply twirl the hook round and round by the line before each re-bait. Try the tortilla mix. I think it will help your bait. Good luck
