Slight bowing!!! Hahahahaha. My boat trailer broke a spring, right behind the front eye bolt. Catapulted the starboard side up about 5-6ft...came down and rolled the right tire, Hub, and axle up under the boat. Ripped the back half of the spring off and tore off the fender, step, lights, broke the other leaf spring, bent the axle, smashed the gel coat on both sides, knocked the bunk boards loose, and bent the back half of the trailer downwards. Even knocked the motor mate off the pins and steering clips off the steering ram.

Insurance company said they’d cover the $8900 worth of damage, but NOT THE BROKEN $24 springs, since they were a “wear item”.

The Goodyear Endurance tires held up, but got replaced anyways.

This was cruising out of the ramp area at a massive 20 miles per hour!!

I’d much rather have a slight bow.

cheers

Looks like you came out well. That whole EZ loader trailer is worth about $1000. Maybe.

Appreciate the thoughts on Mcglls have done business with them over the years and good people do honest work. This might be end up being more alignment but will start there. Leaf Springs aren't fun, had fracture about 10 years ago feel your pain..

Yep. EZLoader is a total POS!

I’m rebuilding it with Timbren dual axle progressive rate springs with brakes, new fenders and steps. Then having it RaptorLiner coated. All in for around $3600, new wheels and all. A little MarineTex in the gel coat chips and it will be golden. Been hauling it and fishing the boat with no step and fender....lookin like a hillbilly. Funny how no one will park their new Skeeter or Ranger trailers next to me now. Lol.
