Found something I like better then sour grain. It's called horse and mule sweet feed. Can use it right from the bag and dosn't stink.

I think it works better and a lot easer to use. looks like rabbet pellets and has molases in it .Been catching channel cat over it.

My great-granddad used sweet feed to chum catfish since way before I was born! I don't fish for catfish much other than from the back yard, but if I ever start catfishing from the boat I will definitely be using sweet feed as chum!
