Fishing is probably about to really suck. TPWD was supposed to spray the grass this week. All the dock owners finally go their way and decided to ruin a perfectly good lake, instead of just waiting for winter. Makes no sense to ruin your local economy.
You can read about it on the West Central Texas Municipal Water District facebook page.

Taking 5 to the weigh-in occurs when opportunity meets successful execution of one's preparation.

Fished it last Wednesday caught fish all day even after it got up to 102 in the afternoon. Dropshotting deeper water around rocks. Nothing big mostly 11/2 to 2 pounds but sure was fun. I live just past the boat ramp and have seen nor heard about any spraying. Talking with a buddy who pretty well tied in with whats going on around the lake he said it was not going to happen. He said it was so late in the year it would be a complete waste of time and money when mother nature was fixing to take it out anyway.
