Looks pretty clear what happened here. The kids were in fishing a marina in which they were not allowed to fish (apparently Oklahoma law). The hillbillies were likely tied to the marina in some fashion. They started hollering at the kids to get out. The kids no doubt hollered back. A flood of cuss words was exchanged (hence the kids not posting any sound on the Facebook videos). The hillbillies started dropping drawers mooning them and throwing rocks at their boat. It escalated from there. Everyone was in the wrong here, including the kids. The hillbillies obviously took it way too far. Everyone should be grateful no lives got ruined that day over something so stupid.

Just watched all 3 full videos with sound. Definitely a heated exchange and the kids started out on the outside of the docks. Words exchanged then they proceeded into the slip area. Guess it comes down to the definition of 150' from what structure? They definitely within feet of the docks. Probably explains why nobody was arrested.

The kids remained fairly calm. They may well have been breaking the law, but it looks like virtually all the escalation was on the part of the hillbillies.

Because it’s already been established most recently in the LBJ dock owner conflict thread, that law enforcement in fish and game scenarios is a dog and pony show catering to whomever yells the loudest.

You cannot have more clear evidence than that video, and nothing will happen to either party.

If you fire a warning shot you just escalated the situation.

Wasn’t it just the other day, that a “road rage” shootout ended with one dead? And the other driver/shooter fled the scene and then later turned himself in to police, only to be sent home with no charges filed?

Seems like a similar threat here. The justice system really does protect the innocent....but, you’d THINK that a killer would be held in custody for at least a few minutes. Obviously not the case.
