I posted this a week ago without one reply in the 'On the Road' section, so I am posting here (Moderators, move/delete if u must).

Folks, please provide recommendations for lodging options on the Texas side of Toledo Bend as close to Cypress Bend launch as possible. I'm not familiar with the boat lanes location nor the safest way to get across the lake to Cypress Bend Park launch. Are Alpine Marina and Harborlight Marina the best options? Consider that I will be traveling under low-light conditions for tournament check-ins. Thanks in advance for any help.

The cabins right there in the Cypress Bend park are pretty nice. The Cypress Bend hotel is not bad either and they really made sure we had a place to charge the boats. The cabins though are right there on the water.

Alpine is the closest, take a good light and you can see the boat lane bouys.. It’s near the right bank going out. Wait and you might be able to follow a local. About half way it becomes clear and you can see the lights at cypress.

I'd stay at Cypress bend or atleast launch there if you're concerned with running. Toledo is low right now and the tx lanes aren't exactly marked accurately
