While the LFA fish Thursdays daytime on our two regular formats, on 5th Thursday we hold special events. This time it is a 5 fish team tournament.

Lake Fork Anglers is looking for co-anglers to go out with our very experienced boaters. Of course we are not guides, but boaters that are on Fork on a regular basis have an advantage over occasional visitors.

The Top five teams were:

1st Jack White of Farmers Branch and Steve Allen of Lake Fork caught 5 bass for 12.75 LB.
2nd place went to Charlie Abresch of Hawkins and Alf Tuggle of Trophy Club caught 5 bass for 11.92 LB and had the lunker of the day at 6.17 LB.
3rd place went to Randy Steele of Sulphur Springs and John Womack of Winnsboro caught 5 bass for 11.44 LB.
4th place went to Gary Pardini of Tyler and Ken Kielbas of Arlington caught 5 bass for 9.73 LB.
5th place went to Richard Morris of Houston and Butch Grove of Sulphur with 5 bass for 7.69 LB.

15 teams fished today on what turned out to be a beautiful day with light winds and fish that were cooperating. Summer hours end the tournament at noon. No one was skunked today.

As you can see by where our senior anglers are from that we cover a large swath of north and east Texas. Many anglers feel that fishing at Fork is worth their time because of the incidence of catching that fish of a lifetime has a much greater chance of happening.

And while many are from Teas we also have many who have moved to Texas and specifically Lake Fork area from the west, the north and the eastern United States.. We welcome them all.
