1989 Skeeter SD 125 FS with 1989 Suzuki DT 115. Boat is extremely nice for it's age and wasn't used much. Everything is solid as a rock. Humminbird 898 side imaging on the console. Original trolling motor. New battery and new tires/wheels. The boat sat for 15 years without use and I think the carbs need cleaning. It runs great on the hose but when you put it in the water it doesn't want to idle. Once you get it moving it will scat. Compression on all 4 cylinders is just over 120 psi. It has new livewell pumps and everything on the boat works as it should as far as I know. If you know how to clean carbs you'll have a very nice fish/ski boat for cheap. I'm located East of Tyler near Troup. I priced it dirt cheap to get it out of here so it's firm.

I had a little time today so I did a decarb with seafoam on the boat. After about 3 minutes of running on the seafoam mixture the motor smoothed out and seemed to be running great. I won't know for sure until I take it to the lake but it sure runs better on the hose.

I decided about an hour ago to go ahead and pull the carbs and clean them and I'm about 1/4 of the way into that. I'm going to take it off the market until I finish and make sure it's running like it should. I'll update the thread then. Thanks for your interest.

BowSlayer,
I have cash in hand. Please keep my number and give me a call when the boat is ready to sell.
It will fit our needs perfectly. We will use it on Inks lake and the Colorado River arm of Lake LBJ.
We have a 21 foot Xpress for the bigger, open water lakes. Will be waiting on your call.
Thanks,
xpress x21

I previously had an SD125 with 115 Merc, same year, and it ran good, fished well on the front and back platforms.
Kept you dry behind the windshield in rough water. Good value.
Good luck on future sale.

Slide right, coming in .... Fish On!

It's a good riding boat, that's for sure.

I got the carbs all pulled off and cleaned yesterday. I have not had time to take it to the lake to test it yet but I can say that it runs better on the hose now than it has since I've owned it.
