Wayne,
Do you know if this update fixes the problem of the Helix losing the bottom signal in water less than 6-10 feet? I was having such a problem with this on my G2N I sent it into Humminbird. They sent it back saying it was fine BUT they did send me a new transducer. I first tried it with my existing transducer and had the same problem. Replaced the transducer with the new one they sent (same model) and it got rid of most (not quite all) of the problem. Is that a known problem with some of the transducers?
Will this new update eliminate this problem totally?

The depth issue is mainly a software thing and some still have it with the current update. Some with a G2N and 360 state the images are still too hot. I took this screen shot with my Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N just after loading the boat on the trailer:
Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N and G4N, 1198c SI, SOLIX 10 SI G3, Helix 8 MEGA SI+ GPS G4N, SOLIX 12 SI and G3, MEGA 360, MEGA LIVE TL, RC-1
