Did he post a pic of his wife with the announcement? I don’t have the Facebook. Ok here’s a better question. Who the hell announces they are going to rehab on Facebook? My bad. I’m sure Brian wouldn’t appreciate shots right now ^^^^Hey everyone, look at this douchebag ^^^^^

Tough road, been there. I quit cold turkey for 11 years. At least the Lord saw me through it to raise my kids and give them a pretty good childhood. Started back a few years ago. Got tired of fighting it. It never went away.
It takes a tough man to stand up and admit this. An even tougher man to do something about it.
prayers for Spags. I quit my self for 10 years. Then 5 years later decided I could be like most other people and only have a couple of beers and call it good. took me about 2 months before i was worse than before. Cost me another marriage with my second ex wife and new batch of kids then in high school. I went back to AA again for a while and still doing the one day at a time thing but in about 30 days, I'll have 15 years in on this go-round. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't make it back for a third try. If you want some info that might help you, feel free to shoot me a PM - it's about the tired of fighting it part. Everyone is different though but we all of us have some things in common about this stuff

His wife must be a saint....and doesn't have good eyesight to boot, because that boy out kicked his coverage big time! Good luck B! Be the best thing you ever do for your beautiful family. My dad never beat it so I sure understand the struggle... MJ

Good luck Brian. dang was it 1 incident or years of partying I'm guessing it was years of partying REAL hard. To die of that at 36 would take a LOT of alcohol. or maybe he had underlying health issues that sped up the liver damage. single incident they usually call it alcohol poisoning like what happens when a bunch of college fratboy douches make a prospect chug 3 bottles of vodka or something similar.

Good luck Brian. dang was it 1 incident or years of partying Same here, my high school buddy was 37 when he died, his liver was toast. He didn't party but he drank a fifth of rotgut vodka every day. My friends told me he would start in the morning drinking and by night he was crashed. Sad, sad tale of woe. Truth. I still think about him once in a while, wondering if I could have said something to get him straightened up. Luckily I was able to quit when I saw the writing on the wall. 32 years now for me.

Keith Whitley is the poster boy of dying young due to alcohol abuse. He was 34 when he cashed out due to alcohol intoxication
