On This Week In Ag Business on the farm channel a couple weeks ago. They had the head of the Kentucky Farmers Assoc or something like that on. He said a lot of farmers have switched to growing hemp as tobacco sales have slowed and they can make more money growing hemp over corn and other products.

Still lots of tobacco around here...but there are changes.
Hemp and canola.

He mentioned a lot of tobacco is still being grown. I think he said E. KY is still real heavy in it, but most of the tobacco being grown right now is rolling tobacco that will be sent off to cigar companies.

So they make boards out of Hemp.. They build houses out of hemp boards.. Your house catches on fire..
The fire department shows up.. Ten minutes into fighting the fire they all quit and go to Dairy Queen..
