It's getting a bit tougher as the Dog Days of Summer are here and the fish are on the move! Richland Chambers is going thru what some Lakes do this time of the year and it can be very frustrating to those folks fishing the Lake in late Summer. The White Bass Top Water action made the trip a couple of days this week as an hour of early Sunrise action was about all we had and then we had to burn some gas to find fish. If you don't get in on the Top Water action, tie on a Slab and hit the Points, Ledges and Humps in 10'-15' FOW (Normally way up the Creek Channels) and you'll find some fish that are there to avoid the main Lake Thermocline. We're having to catch a lot of small throwback White and Yellow Bass to get to the Keeper fish, but if you stay at it, you'll usually get an Ice Chest of fish. Seems that on most days the mid to late morning bite is actually better than the early morning bite if you can brave the heat and hunt them down. The fish are really moving and won't stay on a spot long and you'll need to move to find them. Or if you want to learn a Summer Pattern on RC, give us a call and Let Us Do The Work! We still have one boat open on Labor Day Monday and lots of openings after we get thru this week. Check us out at www.gonefishin.biz . Here's a few Pics from this past week:
