Hope you will post a photo of the finished condo (before burial at sea). I'd like to see how you build them.

Hope you will post a photo of the finished condo (before burial at sea). I'd like to see how you build them. Next step is to drill some holes in the pvc uprights. A short piece of wire threaded thru hole and one twist to hold it in place. Now the bucket is ready to be loaded in the boat. the horizontal cover we have used , christmas tree , tree limbs , 4 inch sewer pipe , 6 inch drainage pipe, anything that will throw shade and we can wire to the Pvc uprights in the picture, What ever you can find free is best. we loaded 4-5 buckets on the boat and pile on all the horizontals. There have been times we look like moving duck blind on the way to the drop point, Wire them up one at a time and drop in close proximity, set a waypoint, Done good luck MO

Why wouldn't just the vertical pipe maybe flared out a bit work without horizontal parts added to it?

No turtle condo planned. Did see one turtle while I was fishing this morning, but didn’t feel like going for the 22.
The fish condo is an old plastic deer corn feeder now full of holes and crosspieces of pvc conduit. I was going to use old water hose as the crosspieces, but had a vision of it being covered with my hung up artificial baits. The PVC shouldn’t be so bad about grabbing my baits.

Funny you posted this because I am finishing up some this morning. Set the in cement last night. Hope to drop them in after church tomorrow. Going to do a test to see when I start catching fish off them.

MERCY - not receiving what you deserve GRACE - receiving what you don't deserve America's MESS = God's miracle fixes I'd rather walk with God with no questions answered than to walk thru life without Him and know the answers

Found something out about this today and I am glad I did before I recorded myself drooping them into the lake. I had never thought of this but depending on what lake you are in, there is someone in charge and for me it is either the city of Tyler for Lake Tyler, or the Neches River Authority. Brush piles are legal, BUT in Lake Tyler there is a huge ticket issued for PVC. So, feel free to drop them in without asking, just do not record it for a youtube video! :-)

Don't forget the old extruded plastic chairs. They're Ernest Paty approved.
