One of my bucket lists is an Argentina dove/duck hunt. One where you might melt a few barrels...

What are some other hunts that you guys have on your list or have already done that were awesome?

I’ve been to Mexico to Rancho Caracol. It’s an Orvis Endorsed Lodge. 1st class operation. My dad went to Argentina a couple years ago and he said it was Mexico x10. You can literally melt your barrel. Mexico was fun. You can shoot all you want there too. The lodge was beautiful.

I have been to Ranch Caracoal several times.. But unfortunately they shut down operations about five years ago.. It was awesome but not near the numbers of Argentina.

Argentina dove hunting is beyond belief.. All the stories are true..

Peacock bass fishing is an adventure in geography.. Water everywhere.. And you have never seen the stars at night like that.. Not a light for miles and miles.. And if you are there at the right time the fishing can be incredible and the fish are the fastest and strongest and most violent striking of any fresh water fish I have ever seen..

Dkershen: I know a guy in Patagonia.. Incredible Red Stag hunting and monsters.. Just below Argentina.. Gotta book two or three years out.. PM if you want contact info..

Dove in Argentina was exceptional, bass fishing El Salto & El Comedero were also exceptional. I may look at Red Stag in Argentina and make it a combo with dove and duck. Honestly I would like to kill a trophy mule deer and elk here in the states first.

Have a co-worker doing that next year.

I'd like to do a Moose hunt with Jim Shockey in his BC territory.

roflmao Don't think I could tolerate Ted. You want to hunt something really dangerous, try the Hippo. On land. With you between the Hippo and the water. None more dangerous.

Hippos don't have hair, so they remind me of babies and I don't want to shoot a baby. I could go for a monkey though. Very dangerous, they throw poop and could put an eye out.

It is not important to me but hunting the big five and dangerous seven: cape buffalo, lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, hippopotamus and crocodile would be a hell of an adventure.
