 H2O Mettle side plate

Anyone have a spare braking side plate for a Mettle reel? I had one fall off. Or just a parts reel that has this part on it?

Take it back to Academy they will give you a new reel.

I had two of them. The side plate fell off both. I know it has to do with the way I hold the reel and my hand pushing against the button, but still...it's a design flaw.

I had two of them. The side plate fell off both. I know it has to do with the way I hold the reel and my hand pushing against the button, but still...it's a design flaw. My brother did the same thing luckily the water was clear and not too deep and we found it.

Take it back to Academy they will give you a new reel. yup

Take it back to Academy they will give you a new reel. yup even an old beat up one? I had always heard they would exchange them but when I took an old beat up one back a few years ago because it stopped working they would not exchange it.
