Are the fish biting yet, preferably decent size?

It was really slow earlier this summer and I haven’t been or seen much reporting

Hybrids have been slow this past week and a half for me in the mornings. We caught a bunch of sandbass today. Some were caught suspended in 40 foot of water and some were caught between 13-18 foot on slabs.
