I have broken trolling motor and wondering if anyone in the dfw area works on them. I found the parts online and thought about fixing myself but curious if anyone around here could do it.

Don’t know whatcha got, but Southwest Service repaired my MinnKota Ultrex for me. They did an exceptional job. The warranty experience was 1st rate from the initial call to them and their final call to me to say “it’s like new”.
The guys name is Zack. Great work.

Thanks for the help. I have a Minn Kota powerdrive v2, drove into a stump and broke the transmission section off the pins.

I’ve never had Boris marine service something for me, but I will say that when I have bought parts from them they have appeared to be incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. For the most part, even the digital trolling motors are pretty easy to work on, if you have some basic understanding of mechanics and electrical usually they’re pretty easy to fix.
