Returned to Southeast Alaska for a little fishing. We also do a couple of days of offshore for salmon, halibut, and rockfish but my favorite part of the trip is fly fishing the streams and rivers. We were a little early for silvers in the rivers but the pinks were thick along with a few chums. We also picked up a few dolly varden along the way.

The boss doesn't fly fish but she gives them heck with a spin rod!



The dark water past the fighting fish is all salmon.

Chums are significantly under rated IMO. On a fly rod, they are great fun. Alaska is a special place.
