I'm headed to fish neuces bay September 16th and 17th. I am going out in my 12 ft john boat and trolling motor. I plan on launching at the little makeshift launch where all the oyster reefs are. I have fished it in early spring and did very well on some nice specks. I have never fished there in mid September. I was wondering if somebody could give me tips bait, technique etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Small to med topwater and any plastic shrimp lookalike should be just fine from between now thru December. The shrimp could be used on mauler (click cork) or without.

I thought your description of the structure you wanted to fish was applicable. Hunt them up.
I do have a new member program and I've already suggested specific areas in that.
