Rick and I fished Sunday morning at Lewisville and caught and released 62 Crappie. About half were nice keeper sized.

Here's the stupid part. Fish wanted a very small bait. Most were caught on a 1/32 oz head with #8 hook and a 1" plastic body. When they would quit taking that I put on a 1/100 oz head with a #10 hook and a 1/2" feather tail and caught some more. I had to put a split shot on my line about 12" above the jig to get the bait to sink. Could not feel the bites at all. Had to watch the jig on the livescope to know when a fish ate it. Also caught several bluegills. Lots of fun

I also lost several nice fish due to the small hooks but didn't care since we were releasing them anyway.
