I had a Whites back in the seventies, good machine. Don't know if they still make them. That's when I learned to walk slow.

Thanks for bringing this up.
I am hunting on a property now that has houses and outbuildings from the 1850's and older.

I used one once . Ex wife got all pizzed off and thru her diamond ring(s) in the yard. Went and bought one to find them.

A guy in Tahoe was using an underwater one looking for treasure. When he went under I would throw change near him. It was countless hours of fun for all.

My brother in law is the top dog at Garrett in Garland. Miss Garrett still comes in the office one day a week but she is 90 something and is not well.

Garrett went from a mom and pop shop to world wide presence, a true success story, I see there products in many Asian airports at scanners and scanning people going into malls
