I’ve never, in my life, seen anyone brag about beating UNC in football.
I have no dog in this fight, but that’s not a good look. My bad, it was NC State. They were 9-4 also. NC State? That’s even worse!! C'mon dude, NC was 1-7, NC State was 9-4 and it was the Gator Bowl. I never thought I’d see an SEC fan bragging about beating an ACC 9-4 team, and I say this as a fan of an ACC team. Not a good look. The ACC has one truly good team and that’s Clemson. Even though Clemson beats the hell out of crappy teams, they’ve proven they can compete with powerhouses. But NCSU is not a good team.

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

Aggies got a tough one week 2 in Clemson, they do get Bama at home this year. I say they loose at Clemson and it will be a coin flip against Bama. Could be their year, Jimbo can coach. So you will give me Bama straight up against Aggy?

To recap: 1) you think aTm tied Clemson last year; they didn’t. 2) you thought aTm beat UNC in a bowl game and bragged about it; they didn’t, and it would be ridiculous to brag about that even if it were true. 3) aTm beat NC State in a bowl game, and you think that is better than beating UNC. It’s not. 4) you think asking me what bowl game my team played in last year somehow is relevant. It’s not. 5) you’re arguing with an ACC fan who understands the ACC and it’s relevance in college football, but not understanding the point. I’m not saying the ACC is good in football (except Clemson). I’m saying the opposite. It’s not a good football conference. Stop bragging about beating an ACC team in a bowl game (bowl games don’t mean anything, by the way, except for the playoffs). And at least get your facts straight. For the record, I’m a Virginia Tech fan. They played in the Military Bowl and lost to Cincinnati. They’re not a good football team and they play in a bad conference.

Not always DH , there are some teams in the ACC with a resume, Florida St. Has a NC in the not so distant past, Miami put out some of the best teams in the history of college football. Your Hokies were a formidable foe for many years and will be back. Duke can be a tough out and gave the Aggies all they could handle in a bowl game not to many years ago. I agree that Clemson is head and shoulders above the rest right now but eventually the pendulum will swing. Gawd I'mean happy it's college football season again.
