We took our vaction last week. We headed out to Corpus for a little salt water fishing. We tied our first ever salt water jigs. This one worked best for Leo.

The one that worked best for me was also white, but i didnt take a single pic of jig though i did get pics of it in the fishes mouth. We caught speckled trout, reds, and a hard head and ribbon fish.




Took a pic of this because it just looked pretty!





We fished the jetties, but no luck.


On the way back we stopped at Lake Corpus Christi to try out there new pier for crappie. Got there and we met a local fishing for crappie with minnows but had no luck. We started fishing and only fished for an hour because of the heat and humidity were unberable.



Only pulled out 2 crappie. It was sooo hot that the crappie didnt want to come out of the water. Lol!
We also stopped and fished the Frio. Leo caught a baby ditch pickle.

We stopped at the Sabinal River also and caught few perch.






Did i mention it was hot!

We made it home, repacked got the boat and headed out to Boynton. Got there about 6pm and fished till 3am. Caught 2 crappie.


In the morning we headed out and went to Averhoff and fished for a few hours. We caught a few perch and bass.

We fished till 3:21 and headed to the motel to take a nap. After nap we headed to Espantosa and fished for alligator gar.
We had a few runs. Leo caught a gar and a big soft shell.

Fished till 2am and went back to motel. Headed back home on Saturday. That evening we fished at the house and Leo caught a perch.
