It doesn’t really matter 1 does you no good. You’ll either be ordering a 2nd or hate the single regardless of what side it’s on Really?  So Spot Lock is no good either since it doesn't have technology to keep your boat facing the direction it is in when set?

Im a over thinker heres my set up and how I use them.
I have a ultrex.
I have two 15 talons.
I have a talon control foot pad on my floor to control BOTH talons. NEXT to it I have a talon remote modified to control ONE talon making it go down.
If there is very little wind I will drop both talons. Like fishing along the bank etc.
If there is enough wind to turn the boat I position 20 feet from where I want my bow to end up and drop one talon and let the wind blow me o my back is at the wind and then drop the second one.
If I want to be parallel to something (sideways to the wind) I drop one talon and use my tm on a low setting or spot lock hold the bow exactly where I want it.

ReelSlow, for me if I was picking where to spend my money on higher end gear I would overspend on the shallow water anchors vs the trolling motor. Again, that is just me since I tend to fish in shallower bodies of water and enjoy that type of fishing more. If I was an offshore focused angler and rarely fished shallow I would overspend on a trolling motor. Of course, I overspent on both but found that I use the spot lock less than the Talons.

it is impossible for a boat to spin with one pp unless you are in a tornado it will swing a little one way or another an keep in mind if you get 8 footers they are only effective in about 6. 5 ft of water on the flip side you do look a lot cooler at the boat ramp when you pull up there an put 2500.00 dollars worth of pins down to go back your truck in. Uh.... what? Sorry, but this is completely wrong. A boat held by one power pole is anchored in one tiny point the size of a quarter. You will pivot in the slightest breeze.
