Adam and I consider the week that School starts as the "End of Summer" for our Guide Service. While Summer certainly isn't over, our Business slows as many of our Customers are Kiddos, Moms & Dads and Grandparents and when School nears or starts we won't be seeing lots of them again till next year! The fish don't stop biting but there's too many things going on for some folks (Football, Hunting Season Almost Here, School Activities and Other Time Consumers) too squeeze in a Fishing Trip. Our Lake gets even more quite and once again after Labor Day we have a 45,000 acre Lake almost completely too ourselves until next Spring. It's Wonderful! I fished everyday last week and Adam fished three trips. The bite was ranged from Fair to Excellent and on several days we had Limits of Whites along with a nice Hybrid or two. Kids, Parents, Grandparents, and Groups fished with us and everyone when home with plenty of Fish Filets. Almost all our fish were caught on RSR Slabs in 10'-20' FOW on Ridges, Ledges and Humps up the Creek Channels. The Main Lake Top Water Bite was inconsistent so we spent little time searching for the Whites this week on the Flats or Main Lake. As Summer does come to a close, we have Weekday Openings and even a boat open on Labor Day Weekend on Saturday and Monday. Give us a call and We'll Go Catchin'! Here's some Pics from last week:
