Falcon will replace your Buccoo rod for $20 if you register it and send in the section that has the rod description on it. They will replace their other rods too, but I cannot remember the price it has been a while since I broke one of my lowriders.

Abu Garcia has been good to me. I broke off an eye on a almost year old Veracity and emailed them to see if there was any where close that would repair it. Instead they sent me a brand new rod and didn't have the veracity in stock so they sent me the next model up (Villain i think, too many V names).

Don't set the hook on rocks or trees and avoid car doors and tail gates at all cost!! Problem solved no warranty needed

Academy can't be beat, either dobyns or Falcon bucoo's are the best they sell so that would be what I would go for. Falcon rods cannot be returned to Academy if broken Nope, I had one given to me as a gift, broke it on the first trip on a 2lb bass. Took back to Academy and they were going to give me 10.00 off a new one. The sad thing is every one they had in stock had a white mark in the same location as the one I broke, it was where they banded them together to ship them to store. Unless something has recently changed, Academy had one of the most liberal return policies. Now not if you donโt buy it from Academy but they will accept them without a receipt if they were purchased there for an indefinitely amount of time.

Which brand has the best rod warranty? Im not trying to spend 3k on a bunch of rods to have one break three months later and have to pay $100 replacement fee on a rod I jsut paid $350 for. Just buy Ugly stick rods and don't worry about breaking them. Plus 1.

I'm with you, I fished my group today hoping to make it work but I really only need 1 rod and would like a second so we are still pretty far off. I'm Marking my calendar for next year though and going to replace a ton of rods for newer models

My Academy here requires a proof of purchase. You don't have it you won't be getting the rod returned. SAVE THE RECEIPTS people! And the on etime I had to return it the rod was on sale and it was not the same so they gave me store credit towards another but only at the sale price! Which sucked. I bought tackle and not a replacement rod
