That's fantastic. Looks like a nice honey hole. Fished Sunday for 4 hours. 2 fish. Both dinks. Still had fun.

U2 Banker is that a stock tank? Fish #2 was a stock tank. Fish #1 and #3 were from low fishing pressure creeks.

I second the numbers vs quality... I've only had one over 3lbs all year (so far ). Most have been 1 and 2 pounders. I am hopeful that the reality high numbers will carry into the fall when the big ones come up from the deep. If so, it should make for some good trips.

Plenty of BIG FISH have already been caught this year and this fall the fishing should be SUPER GOOD!

I've had a super productive year, numbers wise, had nothing all that large topping out in the 4 or 5 lbs. range I guess. Then, I was out just a few weeks ago, July 24th, hot weather, and I caught two LMBs . . . both just a tad short of 25", about 50 yards apart, about 30 minutes between catches. Suddenly, I had a few big bass for the year that had eluded me in 2019. Go figure! Brad

I’ve been having horrible luck fishing hot water. I’ve also grown up fishing from shore. This is my first year with a boat. I just can’t seem to get anything to bite.

Burbarry, give it another few weeks if you are here in Texas. The days are getting shorter, the heat will begin to break a bit. It seems most years, one wakes up around Sept. 15 to Sept. 30, goes outside early in the AM, feels some coolness in the air. Fish, will begin to feed aggressively in front of cold weather. You should be able to find them, catch plenty. In hot weather, I find it best to fish early and late, then slow down to a pace few people seem comfortable with. Some sort of finesse set up works best for me over hot summer months. Brad

Fished 4 hours yesterday and caught 3. But any day on the water beats being at work. Another month and it will pick up.
