Ok guys we have never fished fork and wanting to come down and check out some rv resorts. Want to hire a guide for a day and get the wife on some good crappie. We are thinking about first part of October would this be a good time to fish and what guide would you suggest thanks.

I'm not sure of which guide but anytime one can get to Fork is a good time.....

Jerry Hancock, Todd Box, or Cameron Burnett for guides.

PM Slew here on TFF. He is a crappie hammer, guides on Fork and knows the area very well so he can probably give you some insight on RV parks while you are slinging slabs in the boat!

Jerry Hancock. Been out with him twice. Caught some really good slabs both times.

I think Todd Box also manages a RV park.
