My wife and I closed on a house in Grapevine today. Any good breakfast places around? We have been to Oldwest Cafe, the food was ok but the place was way too loud. I mean my 2 year old beating on pots and pans while screaming is quieter.

Benny’s cafe is in Colleyville but close to Grapevine. No other breakfast place comes close around here.

Benny’s in COLLEYVILLE. It’s on 26. It’s the best in the area in my opinion.

I agree about Oldwest. Too loud. Food is ok.

We also go to Snooty Pig. That was our go to breakfast place before Benny’s opened. Sarah Donuts off Glade is the best donut place around IMO.

Snooty Pig is good also. But, I like that donut place on Hall Johnson near where papa Murphy’s was. But, I don’t really care about donuts that much. Hash browns and bacon is where it’s at.

It’s solid but kind of expensive for what you get.

That Trophy Club trash better keep on driving, and don’t even think about stopping.

Another good place that is lakeside is Big daddy's ship store.

Bring a baggie full of dog food, so your kiddo can feed the ducks.

Big Daddy used to and may still keep a bunch of cold beer in the cooler, it was serve yourself and free since they didn't have a liquor license, It was common place to leave a nice tip.

Ate lunch there a few times, not too bad, never had the breakfast there but would try it if I was on the lake

We ended up going to Lonestar. The biscuit and gravy was really good. I’ll have to try the eggs benedict next time.

Not too far at all. We drove out that way this morning. We have enjoyed it so far. Our daughter has been going to a toddler music class for a while now over by Tommy’s.

On Saturday and Sunday mornings you can go to big daddies on grapevine lake. It's from 9am-11am.
Pretty dang tasty! We go almost every Sunday.

Come over to Coppell and eat at J Macklin's. Highly recommend the chicken and waffles. Full disclosure I've never been impressed by chicken and waffles until I had it at J Macklin's.
